Throughout my life, I have grown to appreciate the human body as a whole, with all of its capabilities, challenges, limitations, and potential.
When I was a child, I loved climbing trees, playing sports, and learning new skills. Later, I found my niche in anatomy, physiology, psychology, and dance classes, earning my B.A. in Integrative Health from The Evergreen State College, in 2017. After graduating from college, I enrolled in the accelerated clinical massage therapy program at Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts in Bellingham, Washington, and subsequently passed the Massage and Bodywork Licensure Examination (MBLEX) in 2018. I began my career as a Licensed Massage Therapist at Hilton Chrysalis Inn and Spa in Bellingham, Washington. While working in the Pacific Northwest, I received additional training in Hot Stone massage, Skincare treatments, and Hydrotherapy techniques, before returning to my hometown, Santa Cruz, in 2020.
Here at Kinetic Health, I specialize in a variety of modalities, which include: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, Myofascial release (MFR), trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage. I’m grateful to be in a profession where I can work with a diverse array of people, solve problems, and work alongside other enthusiastic healthcare practitioners. I love working at Kinetic Health because because the environment here is collaborative, supportive, and inclusive. As a professional, I find comfort in knowing that our clients are in good hands with each of us. Our different styles and specialities allow us to provide our clients with a uniquely holistic experience.
In my spare time, you’ll find me taking continuing education courses to expand my repertoire. In fact, I completed the Esthetician Licensing Examination in 2023 I am officially a Licensed Esthetician in the state of California. I am delighted to combine my skills in massage therapy and skincare to further serve my clients. Aside from taking classes, I enjoy spending time with my colleagues and practicing new techniques together. I also love to exercise, spend time with my friends and family, read books, and be outdoors.
The integrative training that I’ve received throughout the years allows me to tailor each session to meet the individual needs of my clients. By combining clinical and therapeutic knowledge, I strive to provide an effective and rejuvenating experience that calms the nervous system and facilitates recovery. Whether you are recovering from an injury or setback, or simply want to de-stress, I am here for you. I look forward to working together, supporting you, and helping you achieve your health goals.
